  • I remember there was this guy who admitted that “I don’t make him happy.” The moral of the story is, I figured he’s just an asshole, and I am, maybe, the happiest person anyone could meet.

  • Mistake=Choice

I was told at a very young age that life is unfair, and I will make mistakes. At times, I ponder why we think our mistakes also make us imperfect beings. Mistakes are like choices, and in fact, we make choices because life gives us options in anywhere we turn our heads onto. There are so many choices out there, and those choices seem to not fit in everyone’s desires, but to only our own. We choose to take a different path that people in our lives find as flaw. However, this is not always the case. The way I see it, we live in a world full of stereotypes and routines. They are inevitable because people choose to associate with these facets. Is there really such thing as normal? or are we just brainwashed by the media and our government? Frankly, there are so many bad things we can do more than good things because in my perspective, the more choices we have, the more “mistakes” we can create in our lives. I am not fond of this idea. I think we have the power to choose our ways in lives in spite of whether these choices are socially accepted or not. I hear all the time that we must not live our lives for others but solely for our own because our own desires in life is what matters while we are alive until it’s time for us to vanish from the world. In fact, I think we are making choices that are out of our comfort zone in which elevates potential “mistakes” because we are risk takers and selfish beings. We take things for granted all the time, such as time, relationships, things, and monetary values. These things are not supplied to us infinitely, and therefore, we begin choosing the directions that will help us gain more regardless of the circumstances since they are supposedly going to define what we are living for or else life would be meaningless. I do not believe in making mistakes; I believe that every day there is more things we can learn from because we are all ignorant in some way. The way I see it, mistakes do not exist, but only choices. We are trained to know what life truly contains for us, but we cannot always understand everything about what life consist of because it’s too big to manage, and it takes time and experience to fully grasped that idea. We must make choices whether they are thoughtful or careless choices. I believe in making choices not mistakes. Each day, we must learn to understand that being involved in a system, whereas normality does exist in the common groups of people, can hinder us from discovering the meaning of our lives. Hence, do not fear making choices that can separate you from what  our society and religions are dictating. The choices we make can be a fast track or a detour, but through experiences we become wiser with our words and actions. Mistakes does not define imperfections. The word, “mistake” has a prerogative meaning, but this word is also similar to the word,  “choice,”
